La Guiranne is a detached villa in Beauvoisin, an authentically French village 15km south west of Nimes in the Petite Camargue. La Guiranne was built about 30 years ago in the style of a Provencal mas, designed to stay cool in the hot summer months. The villa can be rented out for very reasonable rates.
Design brief
The owners of the villa approached us to build a small 6 page website that they could update themselves, quickly and easily. The website was needed to give visitors from an offline media marketing campaign furtehr information about the property and its features
Development notes
As the owners stressed a need to update the site themselves it was constructed with a ModX backend as this system allows content editors to get to grips with small changes to the site almost straight away. the front end was built using tableless search engine friendly XHTML and CSS and a flamingo.
